Prior to engaging TRANSEARCH as their executive search partner, HASI faced a significant challenge in finding a suitable candidate to head their grid-scale investment team. HASI’s former CEO (and current Chairman), Jeff Eckel, had a prior relationship with John Ryan, TRANSEARCH’s Managing Director, utilizing his expertise in executive search since the 90s.

As a result, Eckel was able to recommend TRANSEARCH as a potential partner for executive search, having utilized their services on multiple occasions in the past.
